A look through the one way window

Children's Therapy Center has been a part of our lives since Owen was 22 months old. It is very rare if we aren't there at least one day a week. We went through most of last year with sessions 4 days a week and have just recently shortened it to 3 days a week by combining 2 types of therapies into one day.
It is like our second home. The kids even shout out "We're home" when we pull in to the parking lot.
The therapists are friendly, passionate, caring and feel like a part of our family. The place is usually packed full of families with kids running around and parents chasing after them. There is so much that is accomplished in between those walls that I feel honored to be a part of it.
We have been so blessed to have this place. They have helped Owen tremendously. Some weeks are better than others for him. But since we have started, we have never had to have the discussion if we should stop because he isn't learning and progressing.

As Owen spends from 30 minutes to 1.5 hours in his sessions. So during that time we get creative with how to keep ourselves occupied. Olivia does well some days and others not so much but she is such a trooper for participating in this activity.

They have a wonderful one way window for parents to watch their kids without the kids knowing so we spend quite a bit of time sitting in front of that window watching.

Or when the weather cooperates we play outside. Go for walks, find a local park or just chill out in the grass and have a chat with daddy on the phone.
Notice her hair in this photo, this was after a long day at daycare....

And when on a rare occasion we have the lobby to ourselves we just run around and point out the flowers on the walls and wait for Owen to walk through those doors.

It is our second home and some would think we are crazy for how much therapy Owen gets but I could not bear to pull him out of anything when he continues to grow, to learn, to enjoy it. So we continue to spend time traveling there and hanging out there while Owen gets this opportunity and is willing to participate. Even if he decides to go with a full Spiderman costume on (he did his whole physical therapy session on Friday dressed like this!)
